Associate General Counsel, Human Exploitation & Emerging Risks Compliance Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and support for product and second line compliance teams with respect to our compliance obligations under US and other laws
Collaborate and align with relevant functions e.g. Product, Compliance, Investigations, to optimize, draft, review and implement safety compliance policies, processes, controls and training
Support second line monitoring and testing teams as they evaluate controls
Advise on safety compliance risks for product and supplier operations
Support internal compliance investigations and risk assessments and support external audits
Undertake special projects and support other payments compliance program initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
8+ years of relevant experience with financial crimes or user welfare laws, second line compliance or programmatic compliance design at a law firm or inhouse with a multinational corporation

Preferred Qualifications:

- in-house preferred

Experience providing practical and effective advice in a fastpaced environment
Interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality
Proven experience presenting and communicating to audiences
