Primary Responsibilities
- In the role of Assistant Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
- Manage and coordinate project administration, forecasting, staffing projections, project scheduling and overseeing integrity of relevant data in the enterprise business suite database for respective projects.
- See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a proactive project management system.
- Work with Project Managers to develop Project budgets, including scope, fee and schedule; Review budgets and weekly burn rate; analyze the potential for additional earnings, mitigate losses; manage backlog
- Review all contracts between Clients and Subconsultants to mitigate risk and increase profitability
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and work with PM's to adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreedto schedule
- Serve as direct liaison and proactive facilitator with primary client; which includes a business development focus as well as ongoing oversight to ensure client satisfaction.
- Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
- Implement, monitor and support company policy.
- Train, develop and coordinate personnel to comply with operational requirements.
- Be an active participant in local community and professional organizations
- Other duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years related experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employeeowned culture is a must
