- Manage a portfolio of 7 properties, including 2 underperforming assets
- Implement a property management strategy that enhances customer service and cost efficiencies to maximize profitability
- Recruit, train, and supervise management staff in alignment with company policies
- Collaborate with site staff on financial reporting, budgeting, vendor contracts, and operational procedures
- Maintain regular communication with the Director, Property Management regarding property requirements
- Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to standards, regulations, and lease agreements
- Oversee rent collection, financial reviews, and develop action plans for underperforming assets
- Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations
- Identify and implement strategies for portfolio improvement
- Experience managing diverse multi-family communities, including Class A/B properties, lease-ups, HUD projects, and LIHTC experience
- Proven track record managing a portfolio of 5 or more properties
- 7-10 years of multifamily housing experience
- Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 25%, with potential overnight stays
- Ability to cultivate leadership skills among staff
- Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in property management tools and software
- Financial acumen with expertise in budgeting and profit management
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to achieve property management goals

Purpose of Position:
