    Purpose of Position:

    The Regional Property Manager holds accountability for overseeing all activities at the communities within their designated portfolio. This role entails direct management of Property Managers and indirect supervision of the entire site staff within the portfolio.

    Essential Duties:

    • Manage a portfolio of 7 properties, including 2 underperforming assets
    • Implement a property management strategy that enhances customer service and cost efficiencies to maximize profitability
    • Recruit, train, and supervise management staff in alignment with company policies
    • Collaborate with site staff on financial reporting, budgeting, vendor contracts, and operational procedures
    • Maintain regular communication with the Director, Property Management regarding property requirements
    • Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to standards, regulations, and lease agreements
    • Oversee rent collection, financial reviews, and develop action plans for underperforming assets
    • Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations
    • Identify and implement strategies for portfolio improvement

    Requirements:

    • Experience managing diverse multi-family communities, including Class A/B properties, lease-ups, HUD projects, and LIHTC experience
    • Proven track record managing a portfolio of 5 or more properties
    • 7-10 years of multifamily housing experience
    • Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 25%, with potential overnight stays
    • Ability to cultivate leadership skills among staff
    • Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in property management tools and software
    • Financial acumen with expertise in budgeting and profit management
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to achieve property management goals
