Searching for a dedicated, full-time Digital Curator who enjoys fun projects in the West Los Angeles/Burbank area

V10 Entertainment (V10E) is a private equity-backed media company with three core business areas - Production, Library, and Networks. V10 has an omnichannel approach so that while we continue to grow, we have the distribution pipeline to take advantage of that growth. V10 Networks, one of our core areas, engages over 98 million fans across digital platforms. We specialize in creating compelling content that resonates with a wide audience, from short-form viral videos to long-form scripted content.

As a
Digital Curator at
V10 Networks, your expertise will bring to life hilarious content that captivates millions.

You will be responsible for curating collections of UGC clips for compilation videos and original content for V10's network of Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube channels.

This includes America's Funniest Home Videos (AFV), Kyoot, Peachy, All The Babies, Kids Say, and developing new brands. This role is key in ensuring our content captures attention and inspires fans to share it with friends.

To be successful in this role, you will:
Curate collections of videos that will be edited into hilarious compilations for social media platforms

Create, maintain and audit collections
Update metadata
Communicate with team during the curation process
Frequent communication with the Head of Curation
Pitch ideas for new formats
Look for trends in newly submitted videos
Curate for special projects
Track down video files upon request
Keep up to date on Brand Guidelines

You will come in with the following skillsets from either paid jobs, volunteering or personal use:

College degree in a related field or the equivalent in work experience
One (1) year's experience in using and searching with databases and using social platforms
Experience performing Boolean searches and content development is a plus
Experience with Google Suites, Slack, Asana, and Microsoft Suites
Knowledge of social platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and Tiktok, their audiences, their different environments, and what types of content perform well on which platform
Ability to stay current on trends, public expectations, what is popular and what is considered family friendly fun
Ability to learn new processes quickly
Able to problemsolve and address a situation from multiple perspectives
Selfmotivated and works well on own with direction
Works well with others at all levels in an organization
Able to manage one's self and maintain organization
Time management skills
Knowledge social platform guidelines and standards such as what is allowed/not allowed
Ability to learn our brand guidelines and content culture quickly
Collaboration ability to work closely with other members of the production team to ensure a seamless and effective postproduction process
Pleasant work attitude by working well with others and on own
Knows how to ask and accept feedback

This role is based out of our West Los Angeles offices so living in the LA area with required time regularly onsite as needed for meetings, collaboration and in-person communications.

Pay:
$ $28.85 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
