Gateway, AR is looking for a Lead Maintenance Controller to join our team in Lantau, Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
- Leading the Maintenance Control team by effectively communicating business requirements, providing mentorship and guidance, and monitoring performance to ensure a worldclass maintenance control function that delivers operational excellence for the airline.
- Ensuring a safe, compliant, ontime, and customercentric operation by proactively managing defects, making timely decisions and airworthiness judgements for flight crew and line maintenance engineers both in the air and on the ground in Hong Kong and across our global network.
- Actively monitoring aircraft defect alerts and overseeing Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organizations and line stations to ensure efficient troubleshooting and rectification of defects, minimizing customer impact and loss of aircraft availability due to technical delays and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events.
- Identifying potential technical and maintenance risks to the planned operation and collaborating with the airline's Integrated Operations Centre and joint airline/MRO Centre of Excellence to find appropriate solutions.
- Working with internal departments, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and MROs to find efficient and effective solutions for technical defects that may affect the flying schedule.
- Managing AOG recovery events worldwide, including coordinating with Base Maintenance support through outport Engineering Managers, to ensure timely recovery and tracking milestones.
