As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

This is a "Where You Want" job: In consultation with your supervisor, you can choose the location where you want to work within Germany and decide between mobile work and working in the office.

Your official office will be contractually determined - in case of multiple advertised locations, the decision will be made in a conversation between you and your supervisor.

We are currently looking for a Development Engineer with a focus on approval and CE (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the Halle (Saale) location.

Your tasks:

In your new role, you will be responsible for the timely and quality development of components, new technologies, and energy supply solutions, taking into account economic efficiency.
You will independently and responsibly develop defined concept solutions within the field of product development and use a specified CAD system.
Your tasks also include managing and leading development projects up to production, creating development plans with stage goals, developing technical implementation steps and sample production, as well as evaluating and analyzing technical customer specifications.
You will create drawings,
