What to expect

  • As a construction estimator (m/f/d) in Marietta, MS, you will calculate our construction projects according to contract and VOB regulations
  • You will determine and control the costs for subcontractor services and materials based on execution plans, quantity calculations, and measurements you have created
  • You will support the construction management in performance calculation and cost control
  • You are responsible for ensuring timely and complete cash flow
  • You ensure timely documentation and compilation of billing documents and enforce the compensation claim with the client
  • Your responsibilities also include identifying additional work and maximizing billing potential by participating in the calculation of additional work
  • You support the work preparation through quantity surveys and plan reviews
  • Together with our construction teams, you drive the digitization on the construction site and increasingly incorporate BIM into daily work, including performing quantity surveys based on BIM models
Your foundation

  • You have a degree in civil engineering, technician, master or equivalent education
  • Ideally, you have professional experience in cost estimation or construction billing
  • You have a good understanding of construction law (VOB) and experience with performance specifications
  • Proficiency in a constructionspecific software application, such as iTWO, is desirable
  • You have a strong understanding of numbers and costs
  • You impress us with your solutionoriented work style, teamwork, high commitment, and negotiation skills
  • You are open to new technologies and working methods, ideally with some experience in BIM planning
