This is a Hybrid work environment with 3 days in office.

We are seeking a visionary and experienced IT Director of Network Engineering to oversee and guide our Global Enterprise Network Engineering team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Enterprise Network Engineering team ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Lead a team of network engineers and technicians, providing technical and leadership support.
Design, implement, and manage a highly secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise network infrastructure, including onpremises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Oversee network performance, capacity planning, and proactive troubleshooting to ensure optimal network uptime and user experience.
Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
Manage network service level agreements (SLAs) with internal and external vendors.
Oversee network budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of funds.
Stay current with emerging network technologies and trends, recommending and implementing solutions that enhance network efficiency and security.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the network services team.
Collaborate with other IT departments and business units to understand and address their network needs.
Manage and participate in networkrelated projects, ensuring ontime and withinbudget completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
7+ years of experience in network administration and design, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in managing and leading a team of network engineers and technicians.
Indepth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.), network security concepts, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) and network management
