    Job Details:
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to step into a role that offers a broad scope of responsibilities and the chance to make a significant impact on our company's financial health.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all areas of accounting, with a specific focus on cost accounting, accounts payable & receivable, cash flow management, and financial reporting.


    Responsibilities:
    As our Staff Accountant, you will be a key player in our finance department, with duties including but not limited to:


    • Maintaining and controlling the general ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records.
    • Conducting cost analyses and preparing budget reports.
    • Managing the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable.
    • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
    • Overseeing cash flow management and forecasting.
    • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
    • Developing and maintaining financial reports to ensure that management has timely and accurate information.
    • Assisting with the annual audit process including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor requests.
    • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement in the company's financial practices.

    Qualifications:
    To be successful in this role, you will need:


    • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the finance industry.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
    • A deep understanding of financial reporting and cash flow management.
    • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and experience in managing accounts payable and receivable.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of finance and accounting.
    • Professional certification such as a CPA is a plus.
