Responsibilities:

  • Defining test strategies and creating test concepts as part of the test planning process, while ensuring a holistic approach within our crossfunctional team (QA, Dev, Consultants, and PM)
  • Designing and executing test scenarios for distributed Java systems
  • Structuring and managing the test organization
  • Handson participation in test activities, including planning tests and milestones, implementing QA measures, and communicating and escalating issues to project management
  • Continuously improving test processes and tools in coordination with the team, such as defining and measuring quality indicators for the product
  • Ensuring appropriate test reports are created for the intended audience, including test and deviation status updates

Requirements:

  • A degree in (business) informatics, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business administration, or a related field
  • Extensive experience working with Java
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts and tradeoffs
  • Strong knowledge of test management in a professional setting
  • Ideally, relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g. ISTQB)
  • Independent and detailoriented work ethic with a focus on quality
  • Excellent analytical and communication
