    SURFMEPP Database Developer with Security Clearance - Norfolk, United States - Noblis

    Description

    Responsibilities Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) provides centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management.

    SURFMEPP's primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship's expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).

    The Database Developer will assist in compliance with Team Ships website policies and procedures, updating sites and material when appropriate.

    This work includes additional responsibilities such as (but not limited to): * Create and manage stand-alone applications in support of various SURFMEPP Divisions.

    * Perform testing and troubleshooting for stand-alone applications. * Explore and integrate new technologies into the web environment. * Resolve complex IT issues experienced by SURFMEPP personnel. * Assist in enforcing policies, procedures, and access approval. Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in a related filed. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors.
    • - 4 years of relevant professional experience
    • DOD SECRET Security Clearance
    • Familiarity and training with MS Share Point site development and management Desired Qualifications
    • Use of MS Office Suite tools

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.
