- Job Description Support the Naval Sea Systems Command Code 03S (NAVSEA 03S) Digital Industrial Operations (DIO) efforts concerning information technology services in support of the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) Program
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
- Performs one or more of the following tasks in support of computer database administration: architects, designs, oversees the development of, or administers computerized databases, installs the applicable databases onto the appropriate computer operating systems, creates databases, configure databases (for data warehousing application), use import utilities to install databases
- Write code for update queries, update data dictionaries as new fields are added to the database, and maintain a data correction log
- Create and maintain data correction logs that identify the date the correction that was performed, tables and fields affected, submission affected, error code affected, and other pertinent metadata
- Expand and update the data dictionary for the database and any related applications
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
