Project Manager Assistant to join our team

We deliver technical solutions and detailed design, through construction, for medium to large and complex bridge projects in the New York metropolitan area and across the globe.
We are supporting structural design projects for Bridge projects across the country, as well as Tunnels, Airports, Rail/Transit programs and have a very strong backlog of work Our New York office is a center of excellence and known for long span, cable supported and moveable bridge work.
Recent marquis projects include the new Goethals Bridge, the Third Tacoma Narrows Bridge, the new Fore River Lift Bridge, and major rehabilitative work on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Performs a variety of duties related to engineering management for structural projects that could include Bridge rehabilitations and replacements, rail/transit structures, tolling gantries, tunnel structures, structures for airport facilities.
Complete variety of assignments such as progress report, invoice documents, subcontracts, change orders, schedules and other materials related to procurement and construction purposes.
Review submittals of related documents from subcontractors and subconsultants, interact with them to achieve project-compliant submittals.
Communicate with Client on matters related to the above items and coordinate with the project team to implement feedback.
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering. Masters/Phd's also highly desirable
0 to 3 years experience in engineering
(i.e., Some design experience in transportation infrastructure projects (bridge/rail/aviation/tunnel)
or research experience in those areas preferred).
In addition, an Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred.
Requires basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.

$ $44.33
