Job description
Immediate opening for an SAP FI Analyst to support primarily a financial services team. This includes functional as well technical elements. The candidate will function as single point of contact for all end user related topics and is able to analyze and troubleshoot complex structures and business scenarios. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills as well as a follow-through mentality. The applicant should be able to drive full life-cycle SAP project implementations in the A/R and A/P area.
Position Purpose:
The SAP FI Analyst is responsible for implementing new customer projects in the financial services' area. The candidate also gives guidance to the support team which handles change requests and projects for existing customers. The work area covers all the stages of an SAP life-cycle including requirements engineering, IT blueprinting, implementing end-to-end solutions, deployment, documentation, training and hyper care for the end user community. The applicant possesses hands-on expertise in setting up order-to-cash processes within the SD and FI modules. A deep understanding of SD pricing, taxation, multi-currency environments, G/L account determination, credit management, credit cards, credit/debit memo processes, A/P scenarios and banking interfaces is imperative.
Minimum Required Skills and Education:
- Strong functional skills in the FI module (at least 3 full life cycles) and 5+ years of experience
- A/R and A/P process champion
- Good functional skills in the SD module (3+ years of experience)
- 3+ years of ABAP experience (incl. interfaces, IDOCs, USER-EXITs, BADIs, debugging skills, reporting)
- Hands-on knowledge with taxation subsystems (Vertex)
- Track record of excellence in end user support
- Experienced in planning, creation, and the control of the QA environment
- In-depth knowledge about SIT, VIT, and UAT planning/execution
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills and follow-through mentality
- Works independently in an international organization
- Able to work pro-actively in an agile environment (60% daily business support; 40% project work)
