    Diesel TechnicianDescription$5,000 Sign on BonusWe are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution Business in Kenner, LA.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
    • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
    • Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
    • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
    • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
    • Maintain own tools.
    In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
    (Entry):
    • Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics.
    • Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.(Intermediate):
    • Completes complex internal engine repairs.
    • Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision.(Advanced):
    • Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools.
    • Larger more complicated engine rebuilds.
    • Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation.
    • Seeking Intermediate and/or Advanced Technician with Internal Engine experience including overhauls.
    • The ability to obtain a CDL may be required.
    Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k)
