    Job Description:


    We're looking for a full-time, hardworking and knowledgeable software engineer to join our geographically distributed development team where we build best-in-class cyber security products.

    As a member of our growing team you will help design and develop technology solutions that are scalable, meaningful, and critical to our company's success.

    If you have an interest in cybersecurity, data visualization and are passionate about building scalable enterprise solutions, then this is the development role for you.

    You will be working in an Agile environment, contributing with your ideas, code, testing, and planning skills.


    Responsibilities:


    Working collaboratively with other software engineers, product managers, project managers and quality assurance engineers to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions using QlikSense Enterprise, React, and a diverse range of data sources.

    Researching, designing, developing, documenting, analyzing, testing, debugging and integrating capabilities into new and existing QlikSense applications.
    Creating and optimizing complex data models to support efficient data visualization and analysis.
    Extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple sources into QlikSense applications.
    Verifying product features are thoroughly implemented, ensuring all requirements are met, using robust technical solutions and only the highest quality coding standards
    Remaining up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments and actively sharing that knowledge with other team members


    Required Education and Experience:
    BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent work experience
    Enterprise development experience with OOP, modular code development, design patterns, and multi-threading
    Practical experience developing multi-tier web-based applications using modern front-end UI technologies like Angular, React and Bootstrap
    5+ years of professional experience in developing complex BI applications that scale to billions of records
    3+ years building applications on QlikSense or QlikView, including extensions and / or mashups
    Strong SQL development and tuning skills
    Experience using Relational Database Management Systems, preferably Oracle
    Experience with BigData solutions such Hadoop and Spark
    Experience using Git for source control management
    Strong desire to learn new skills and tools as needed
    Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements
    Expected to work independently with minimal supervision
    Ability to obtain US Government Security

    Things that would be Nice to Have:
    Experience with cloud native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
    Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting proficiency
    Experience working with virtualization tools and systems such as VMware ESXi/vSphere
    Experience with Oracle PL/SQL
    Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
