Beyond Care Expert Teacher (SPECIALIST FOR PERFORMING ARTS)Description:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or equivalent certification or years of experience in your specialized field.
- Demonstrated expertise and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an educational or camp setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and inspiring students.
- Passion for learning and a commitment to excellence in education.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in person and commute daily to the designated Beyond Care Program locations.
General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily supervision and safety of a group of campers/students.
- Supervise the BC Interns assigned to the group.
- Lead and/or colead an enrichment niche activity based on Beyond Care Cornerstones in STEM, ACADEMIA, ARTS, and OUTDOOR EXPLORATION.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of the group, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
- Take daily attendance of the group and report any absences to the appropriate personnel.
- Report any illness or injury promptly and follow proper protocols.
- Escort the group to and from all activity areas and trips, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Collaborate with Crew colleagues to plan and teach CREW sessions and closing circle to crew students daily.
- Teach and supervise organized games, team sports, and freeplay activities.
- Assist your Crew colleagues in implementing educational and recreational programs effectively.
- Design and lead clubs related to your expertise or niche, providing engaging and enriching experiences for students.
Training Commitment:
- Attend at least three days of training leading up to the first week of camp and the SY2425 academic year. Training dates will be communicated in advance, likely scheduled on Saturdays before camp begins.
Work Hours:

- Hourly Rate: $40 per hour
Work Hours: 3:15 PM to 6:15 PM
Camp Details:
- Hourly Rate: $50 per class period (1 hour)
