Job Summary:


Essential Functions:


60% Plans, organizes, and is accountable for project outcomes, deliverables, budgets, deadlines and over schedule by establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional internal and district staff, external vendors, contractors, and consultants.

20% Develops and maintains all project documentation, presentations, and reports needed for each maintenance program.

Documents include contractor change orders, consultant amendment to professional services, allowance and contingency forms, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, budget sheets and project closeout documentation.

Accounts payable and related tasks include a support document review for accuracy, obtaining approvals, coding payments, data entry, annual accrual development.

Resolves discrepancies.


10% Monitors and maintains compliance with regulations and awareness of college and district commitments such as CDAC and Governing Board process, Purchasing regulations, industry trends and best practices in project and program areas to align with college and district objectives and outcomes.

Project Maintenance tasks include initiating, maintaining, and/or closing projects in the financial management system and for maintaining the project audit trail.

Liaison to Business Services, College Facilities and Fiscal Offices, vendors, and other vested partners.

10% Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in architecture, engineering, sustainability, business or public administration and two (2) years equivalent experience providing construction project management coordination and assistance including preparing reports, maintaining records, tracking budgets, performing research and assisting with project communication.

OR


Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in architecture, engineering, sustainability, business or public administration and four (4) years equivalent experience providing construction project management coordination and assistance including preparing reports, maintaining records, tracking budgets, performing research and assisting with project communication.

High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years equivalent experience providing construction project management coordination and
