We're looking for Hosts who are enthusiastic about learning about tiki culture, outgoing, have experience in casual fine dining and / or high volume restaurants and love having fun.
Our Hosts are expected to be the face of the restaurant as you are generally the first face guests see.
The Honu has a fast-paced and high-volume atmosphere, so it is crucial that our Hosts take pride in providing attentive and friendly service that ensures our guests feel valued and welcome.
Responsibilities:
- This position requires greeting & seating customers while maintaining a clean safe space
- Arrives for shifts in a clean uniform and maintains good hygiene.
- Trained to be well versed in all merchandise items
- Bringing water, menus and utensils to guests and dog menus and bowls of water to dogs
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist coworkers when necessary.
- Takes initiative and shares ideas to improve quality of service when opportunity arises
Qualifications:
- Welcome guests in the aloha style
- Ability to navigate POS systems
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask
