~~UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT~~


We are looking for a motivated Hotel Leader to help the General Manager in directing daily business operations as well as sales efforts.

Assists the General Manager with the oversight of all aspects of Property Management in accordance with Company mission statement, including maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards.

The Assistant General Manager should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to
perform each essential duty and responsibility in a safe and satisfactory manner, and the individual must be
punctual and
have a good attendance record, and
have reliable means of transportation to work.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities include but limited to:_

  • Cooperating with the General Manager, and assisting with anything from project planning to staff management.
  • Ensures implementation of applicable preventive maintenance programs that protect the physical assets of the hotel.
  • As required of all hotel associates, assists any customer or potential customer in a prompt, courteous, friendly, and helpful manner at all times.
  • Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
  • Delegating daily tasks.
  • Addressing any issues in a timely fashion.
  • Supervising staff and controlling merchandise.
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Assistant General Manager Requirements:_

  • Degree in business administration or similar work experience.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Good observation skills.
  • An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
  • Computer literate (see below) and basic Math skills.
  • An ability to identify weakness and provide coaching where necessary.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
_Assistant General Managers must have sufficient computer skills that will allow them to be able to use, in a proficient manner, all Company-issued software programs implemented at the hotel, including but not limited to the following:_

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Yield Management Systems programs
  • Property Management System (PMS) programs
  • Daily Revenue System (DRS) programs
  • Central Reservation System programs
  • Payroll programs
  • Companyissued internet browser programs
  • Companyissued electronic mail programs

Pay:
$60,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Hotel management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Livingston, TX preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Livingston, TX 77351: Relocate before starting work (required)
