The Lebenshilfe Erlangen-Höchstadt offers individual support for people with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of life. This includes the area of children and adolescents, which also includes the school preparatory facilities with an integrated day care center (SVE). There, we provide holistic support and care for children aged 3 to 6 with disabilities, developmental delays, as well as speech and behavioral difficulties.

We are currently seeking a pedagogical support staff for our SVE at Riverbend

as a childcare worker (m/f/d) / assistant in special needs education (m/f/d)

with a weekly working time of 30 to 38.5 hours

Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting the group leaders in the pedagogical care and support of the children
  • Conducting activities and programs in accordance with the child's individual development plan, in consultation with the group leaders
  • Assisting the children with daily activities
  • Performing household and care tasks
