    Description

    Position Summary

    The University of New Mexico,College of Education and Human Sciences, Department of Health, Exercise &Sport Sciences, invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer III, beginningAugust 2024.

    Responsibilities: The successful candidate will beexpected to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in physicaleducation teacher education and meet the needs for service in the department,college, university and the community.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Physical Education Teacher Education or a closely-related field. Degree must be completed by start date.

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses in physical education Teacher Education.
  • Demonstrated ability or potential to teach graduate-level courses in Physical Education Teacher Education.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
  • Demonstrated ability or potential to provide service to the program, college, and profession.
