We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to join our Business Services Platform team as a Procurement Analyst. In this role, you'll play a vital role in managing group purchasing programs and facilitating procurement activities across our diverse set of Partner Managers and their portfolio companies. Your primary focus will be on ensuring smooth procurement processes and promoting the adoption of group purchasing initiatives to enhance cost savings and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Group Purchasing Program Management: Lead the day-to-day management of group purchasing programs, including vendor coordination, program education, and ensuring timely exchange of data and opportunity assessments. Partner Manager and Portfolio Company Onboarding: Assist in onboarding Partner Managers and their portfolio companies to group purchasing programs. Provide education and support to Partner Managers and portfolio company stakeholders to ensure smooth program adoption and utilization. Adoption Promotion: Develop strategies to encourage the adoption of group purchasing programs among Partner Managers and their portfolio companies. This may involve organizing training sessions, creating educational materials, and providing ongoing support to stakeholders. Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high service levels for Partner Managers and portfolio companies and commitments are met. Address vendor issues or concerns promptly and facilitate introductions between portfolio companies and vendors to foster productive relationships. Program Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance of group purchasing programs, including utilization rates, cost savings, and vendor performance. Generate regular reports and analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Cross-Portfolio Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among portfolio companies to leverage best practices and identify opportunities for joint procurement initiatives. Coordinate introductions between portfolio companies to facilitate collaborative procurement efforts. Content Development and Event Support: Develop content and materials to support group purchasing program initiatives, including presentations, case studies, and educational resources. Provide support for events such as roundtables, conferences, and webinars related to procurement and group purchasing.
Qualifications:
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $125,000 to $150,000.
