As a Car Deal Billing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our dealership.

You will be responsible for accurately processing all vehicle sales and leases, ensuring that all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to delivering excellence in every aspect of the job.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Process vehicle sales and leases in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
  • Verify accuracy of all deal paperwork, including sales contracts, financing documents, and DMV paperwork.
  • Calculate taxes, fees, and other charges associated with each transaction.
  • Submit all required paperwork to appropriate financial institutions and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with sales staff, finance managers, and customers to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information and financial records.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in automotive accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations related to automotive accounting
