Brooklawn Senior Physician (m/f/d) in Geriatrics
The Geriatrics Clinic at St. Marien-Hospital Mülheim, under the leadership of Dr. Birgit Krause, ensures comprehensive medical care for older and very old people in the region.

The clinic offers interdisciplinary collaboration with cooperating departments, providing the full spectrum of internal and neurological diagnostics and therapy, including early rehabilitation for geriatric patients.

In a multiprofessional team of physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and social workers, we address the specific needs of older adults.

Our therapeutic concept is based on recognizing the complex relationships between multimorbidity, polypharmacy, physiological aging processes, social components, and the limitations of therapeutic interventions.

In addition, we offer palliative treatment for incurable patients, focusing on symptom control and support. Our motivation is always to achieve the best possible quality of life in old age.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Training and supervision of assigned physicians
Leading the weekly interdisciplinary treatment conference
Participation in background services for the department
Planning and organizing training and education sessions
Engagement in the development and certification of the clinic

YOUR PROFILE
Specialist physician (m/f/d) in the field of internal medicine, neurology, or general medicine
Additional qualification in geriatrics is desirable, but not required
Confidence and high level of independence, as well as a strong sense of responsibility in patient care
