    BAE Systems is actively seeking a Technical Lead to guide a dynamic team of developers and engineers in support of our mission-driven government client. This pivotal role encompasses the leadership and technical expertise required to deliver exceptional capabilities to our client and their associated contractors.
    Emphasizing productivity and innovation within an Agile structure, the selected candidate will lead the team, focusing on the architecture, development, testing, and technical stewardship of analytic applications and services. This role entails a comprehensive array of responsibilities:

    Core Responsibilities:
    • Design and refine application interfaces for one or more applications within the program, ensuring seamless functionality and design excellence.
    • Partner with the product lead to navigate project-level challenges, fostering enhancements and solutions that propel the program forward.
    • Estimate effort with precision for story point planning, facilitating validation by the product lead and streamlining project execution.
    • Conduct thorough unit testing to guarantee code robustness and dependability.
    • Actively participate in Agile processes, offering valuable insights to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
    • Generate and maintain critical project documentation, including but not limited to, requirements, user and administration guides, and release notes, ensuring comprehensive and accessible information.
    Additional Responsibilities for the Technical Lead:
    • Design and oversee the integration of application interfaces across multiple applications, ensuring a cohesive and efficient program-wide strategy.
    • Lead the development and implementation of product-level solutions, actively addressing discrepancies and championing enhancements to achieve superior project results.
    • Produce and review effort estimates for story point planning, mentoring team members to ensure accurate and realistic project forecasting.
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration, ensuring that project objectives are met with the highest standards.
    As a Technical Lead, you will
    • communicate daily with Government leads on requirements, mission priorities, performance measures, program goals and milestones, and support needs.
    • oversee all web site development work and present overview briefings and updates to Government leads, partners, and customers.
    • report on business area progress at performance improvement meetings.
    • help identify opportunities for increase effectiveness, efficiency, scale, and impact.
    • inform Government and Contract CPM/CDPM of any issues or trends that pose a risk to mission priorities.
    • assist the Contract CPM/CDPM in distilling requirements, communicating them to contract staff, and tracking progress against them.
    • provide a technical need summary to the government program manager and government technical need, giving the client a consolidated roundup across all development efforts, with a special focus on areas that need client intervention.

    The Sr. SW Web App developer coordinates creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrates them into a coherent site design. The incumbent creates, tests, and maintains software and web-based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements. The Sr. Developer provides software process management and configuration management throughout the software / web development lifecycle that includes developing and maintaining technical documentation to assist with maintenance and upgrades. The Sr. Developer leads the development team through a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques, and adhering to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    Education and Experience Requirements:
    Related experience: Minimum 8 years with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
    Related Education: Master's degree in a related area OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of additional senior experience, for a total of 10 years

    Minimum Clearance:
    Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

    Qualifications:
    • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
    • Plans and leads major technology assignments including those that may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
    • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
    • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. May supervise others.
    Candidate must be analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues. Aside from technical skills, prospective candidates should have excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and conflict management skills.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    Related experience:
    • Portion of the experience within the last 3 years supporting a DoD or Intelligence Community customer
    • Proven track record of interfacing and briefing government customers at all levels.
    • Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies (SAFe, Scrum).
    • Expertise in migrating applications to cloud architectures.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in code design and implementation, and proficiency.
    • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker technologies.
    • API development and management.
    Certifications: Active DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification, Agile certification such as Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework, or other Agile certifications, Project Management Professional
    Clearance: Current CI polygraph test

    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $ $215270

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
