Description

The
MSP Network Support Specialist will provide support for clients either on-site at a client site or using remote tools.

Find fixes, workarounds and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exemplary customer service. Must be technically capable and a self-starter with strong organizational and customer service skills. Will be required to travel to client sites, work weekends or after hours and work mandatory overtime when necessary. The successful applicant will work directly with management and staff on strategy and business development to grow revenue.

  • Experience with deploying and managing Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and Azure AD.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing backup strategies for physical and virtual environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory, GPOs, user management, and security configurations.
  • Understanding of different virtualization platforms.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a highpressure environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology and software.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including configuring routers, servers, VPNs, firewalls, and DNS Servers.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software including Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Manage the workflow of all service requests.
  • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution.
  • Respond in timely manner to requests and issues.
  • Repair and replace equipment as needed.
  • Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
  • Set up new workstations for users (deploying equipment, checking over account setups).
  • Ability to work in Active Directory.
  • Identifying and participating in business development opportunities.
  • Analyze current MSP tool suite and recommend changes.
  • Implement any systemwide changes to the Monthly Maintenance Checklist.
  • Meet at least quarterly with all clients to discuss satisfaction with our services and any adjustments required.
  • Test new technology.

Minimal Education/Experience

  • Related Associate Degree plus two years of tech support experience, or three plus years tech support experience.
  • Industry certifications or equivalent can be substituted for experience.

Pay:
$65, $80,000.00 per year
