We are seeking an energetic, artistic, experienced Tradesman (Windows and Doors) to work in our shop in Claymont, Delaware

AWR Commercial Window Company specializes in the repair and restoration of metal and wood windows and doors.

We provide repair, preservation, and restoration services to residential, commercial, municipal, churches, cathedrals, historic, and landmark buildings throughout the United States.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7 AM -3:30 PM (or as workload requires)

Pay range is dependent on experience.


Tradesman (Windows and Doors) Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience performing various tasks such as but not limited to installing, removing, scaffolding, operating hand tools, operate power tools like angle grinders, and general construction repairs such as paint, trim carpentry etc.
• 5+years' experience in working on window and door projects for residential and commercial buildings
• 2+ years of knowledge of glass cutting lead cutting, fitting, and soldering.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion for up to 8 hours
• Must be able and willing to cross train in other departments
• Must be able to travel when needed
• Possess a valid driver license and have reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Tradesman (Windows and Doors) Responsibilities:

• Install and demo windows and doors,
• Assemble and install steel, metal, or wood framing and decorative trim for windows and doors
• Finish caulking and brush painting
• Maintenance all department equipment to ensure all equipment is in proper and safe working conditions
• Ensure clean and safe storage of all equipment
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, read a tape measure, and accurately record measurements.
• Follows company procedures and safety standards
• Other related duties as assigned by management

• Bi-Weekly Pay

Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
