Medical Equipment Cleaning/Handling Technician

Warehouse Manager

Summary:

Responsible for cleaning and repairing all available inventory based on company policy using the proper cleaning supplies and procedures.

Organizes, cleans and prepares branch medical supplies for daily deliveries. Loads and unloads trucks of medical equipment. Stocks, receives and packages supplies to be shipped daily.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned).

• Loads and unloads medical equipment from daily route trucks
• Cleans soiled equipment and prepares them for next days deliveries
• Stocks and pulls products of various weights from assigned locations to fill orders/trucks
• Assist other puller/cleaners with products and orders
• General warehouse maintenance
• Capable of driving a small panel truck helpful.
• Has valid Driver's license
• Some computer skills needed
• Some shipping and receiving experience helpful
• Some DME (Durable Medical Equipment) experience helpful
• Responsible for proper cleaning procedure Appropriate germicidal Disinfectant cleaner
• Follow standard cleaning of equipment procedure
• Performs any other duties that may be requested by Management
• Understand and adheres to all of Health Essentials company policies
• Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment

Opportunity for Advancement

• Driver in Training (delivery medical supplies and pick up equipment)
• Service Technician (deliver, demonstrate and troubleshoot equipment)

Education and or Work Experience:

• Graduate from accredited High School or equivalent
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment and miscellaneous items up to 75lbs daily
• Ability to read, analyzes and interprets general numbers and descriptions in English
