Medical Assistant (MFA) or Medical Office Assistant (m/f/d):

With 65 beds and a focus on surgery, the urology department at AVK covers the entire spectrum of urological treatments, including transurethral, endourological, laparoscopic (including robotic-assisted), and open surgical procedures.

Another focus is the Holmium laser operation of the prostate for glands of all sizes. As a certified laser center, the clinic is the leading center in Europe.

The recently built urological functional department is primarily responsible for a modern X-ray machine, a cystoscopy unit, and four ultrasound machines.

This department, exclusively operated by the urology team, performs approximately 25,000 diagnostic examinations on approximately 7,500 patients per year. This includes catheter insertions and changes, cystoscopies, insertion and change of ureteral stents, percutaneous nephrostomies, minor surgical procedures on the external genitalia,
