- Support the strategic procurement of goods and services by monitoring the internal and external environment for trends and practices that can inform standard and nonstandard strategic opportunities; and performing standard and nonstandard market and sourcing analyses to optimize sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and procurement implementation, independently with limited direction.
- Contributes to the sourcing strategy definition by supporting standard and nonstandard category profiles, savings plans, targets, and forecasts; and executing standard and nonstandard sourcing, communication, and governance processes.
- Contribute to the creation of the sourcing strategy by evaluating options and products/services to develop standard and nonstandard sourcing plans; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to exchange and interpret information to incorporate input and socialize standard and nonstandard category sourcing strategies/plans; and reporting the results of strategic analyses to inform sourcing strategy creation.
- Contribute to the implementation of sourcing strategy by: developing and executing requests for proposals and standard bidding documents to generate options; performing standard and nonstandard proposal analyses to inform supplier selection; negotiating standard pricing and contract terms (e.g., delivery, quality, performance) with suppliers, and escalating negotiations, when necessary, for products and services to ensure company receives the best value for dollars spent; assisting in drafting and modification of new business terms in contract documents; analyzing standard and nonstandard options to determine contract awards and socializing recommendations with internal and external stakeholders; and executing implementation plans for sourcing strategy.
- Relevant degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Material Management, Economics, or related field.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in purchasing, contracting, material management, finance, or related field.
- Experience in a healthcare or another heavily regulated industry (e.g., Banking).
- Data analytics experience preferred.

Summary:
In this role, you will ensure that ALL third parties working with company that have or plan to expand operations offshore are in alignment with the company's offshore strategy (i.e. strong business case, acceptable geopolitical risk, sufficient contractual coverage, etc.). This will involve reviewing each requests business case and conducting the contractual negotiations of offshore terms with the respective vendors.
