    Purpose of the Role:


    As the Director of Fuel Infrastructure Management, you will lead and oversee airport fuel infrastructure globally, ensuring leaders efficiently manage and operate airport fuel facilities.

    Your role will focus on maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high levels of customer satisfaction across all locations. This role combines strategic oversight with accountability to uphold the highest standards of fuel quality and safety.

    Responsibilities:

    Operational Oversight:


    Ensure General Managers direct all facets of the fuel facility operations, maintaining efficient management of contracts, leases, permits, and agreements for compliance.

    Oversee their management of daily workforce activities to drive performance and operational efficiency.
    Customer and Quality Management
    :

    Guide General Managers to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through vigilant monitoring of quality assurance programs and fuel inventory control.

    Oversee the development and revision of operational procedures as necessitated by changes in contracts, regulations, policies, or operational needs.

    Budget and Financial Management:


    Supervise General Managers to adhere to the annual fuel facility operating budgets, reporting variances, and participating in the development of annual Consortium budgets.

    Monitor financial performance against objectives and enforce necessary adjustments.

    Regulatory Compliance and Safety Oversight:
    Ensure that General Managers comply with all company, customer, industry, and federal agency training and safety requirements. Provide oversight in the Quality Service, Safety Management System, and Security Programs.

    Human Resources Management:
    Support General Managers in interviewing, hiring, and staff accountability. Ensure coordination of all training requirements and enforcement of employee work rules and regulations.

    Inventory and Loss Prevention:


    Oversee General Managers to ensure physical fuel movements are coordinated, proper inventory procedures are followed and documented, and all loss prevention responsibilities and fuel inventory reconciliations are managed effectively.


    Communication and Reporting:
    Ensure General Managers maintain effective communication with customers, employees, and manage workforce schedules and requirements. Require General Managers to provide regular reports and follow up on all operational irregularities and special projects.

    Fuel Supply Chain Management:
    Directly manage any upstream fuel supply chain responsibilities, ensuring efficient management of pipeline operations.

    Develop strategies to optimize supply chain logistics and maintain strong relationships with airlines and suppliers to ensure consistent fuel availability.


    Your Profile:

    Experience:


    Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role overseeing fuel facility and consortium operations or a similar environment, with comprehensive knowledge of aviation fuel management.


    Expertise:
    In-depth understanding of tank farm and pipeline maintenance; strong technical knowledge of equipment and systems relevant to fuel operations.

    Skills:
    Proven leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and strong operational and strategic management capabilities.

    Attributes:
    Customer-focused, detail-oriented, adept at managing conflicts, and capable of meeting deadlines. Available for crisis management response as required.
    Specialized Knowledge
    :
    Familiarity with airline fuel consortia operations, understanding their structure and operational dynamics.
