MALE Certified Home Health Aide to work with a client in
Woodmere, NY

$22 an hour

Client: Male, 89 Years Old:

Diagnosis: Dementia:

Location: Woodmere, NY:

The client will be moving to Long Beach in the near future, ideally the caregiver will be flexible to continue care after moving

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday - 8:30am-5:30pm

Client Details:


  • Kosher home
  • Requires assistance with changing & showering
  • Caregiver to encourage eating 3x a day
  • Caregiver to encourage walking
  • General companionship/interaction with the client he loves to play games and watch baseball.
  • Caregiver
    NOT to be on phone while on shift.

Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:


  • Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
  • Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
  • Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
  • Observe and report all changes to RN
  • Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
  • Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

HHA Job Requirements:


  • Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
  • Must have at least 1 year of HHA experience
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID1
  • Fluency in English
