Metz Culinary Management is growing in our Higher Education Divsion and is seeking an experienced and Hands on Food Service Director/ General Manager who shares our passion for Food and Service.

We are seeking a polished and professional Manager with a winning attitude and ready to hit the ground running in a busy University Dining Setting.

The Food Service Director has an overall responsibility of food service.

He/she institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results.

The General Manager reports to University Administration and The District Manager.

Requirements:

3+ Plus Years in a Senior Leadership Role in a College or University setting

  • Solid knowledge of kitchen, café, retail, catering and student dining operations
  • Solid understanding of Guest and Client Relations
  • Impeccable Communication Skills
  • Restaurant Management knowledge
  • Knowledge of Menu implementation
  • Culinary or Specialized Restaurant Management Degree strongly preferred

Experience level:

  • 4 years

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
