Maintenance Team Leader - Portage, United States - Matrix Innovations
Description
We are currently seeking a Team Leader Maintenance (m/f/d) for our distribution center in Schortens, Portage. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a maintenance team within a shift.Together with this team, you will ensure the preventive maintenance and upkeep of conveyor and building systems, as well as compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
Your strong initiative and technical expertise will contribute to the high availability and continuous improvement of all systems.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring the highest possible availability of all technical systems and equipment.
- Coaching and supporting an interdisciplinary team of maintenance technicians to achieve their goals.
- Developing training plans for service technicians.
- Planning and conducting performance reviews, setting individual goals, and evaluating progress.
- Setting an example for workplace safety and ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines on site.
- Supporting the development of our logistics center by participating in technical projects that contribute to the expansion of existing and new systems.
- Understanding OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and performance metrics of the equipment.
- Managing external contractors and related work orders.
- Supporting continuous improvement of all systems and equipment.
- Inspiring others and your own team, taking an active role, and continuously driving for the best solutions.
