We are looking for you to join the Civil Engineering Department of the state capital Stuttgart. The position is permanent.

The Civil Engineering Department, with its approximately 1000 dedicated employees, is responsible for the planning, construction, and operation of the technical infrastructure of the state capital.

Your main tasks:
Application support for specialist systems and databases
Performing regular maintenance and updates as well as monitoring for smooth operation
Identification of requirements and creation of specifications in close cooperation with the specialist departments
Participation in projects
Ensuring compliance with security standards and guidelines
Documentation and knowledge management
Close collaboration with internal and external teams to solve problems, fix errors, and make changes to the systems

Your profile:
Completed degree in computer science or a comparable course of study - alternatively completed training as an IT specialist (or comparable) with relevant, several years of professional experience (for foreign degrees, a recognition in Germany is required)
Knowledge of common project management methods and tools as well as experience in requirements management
