Your Responsibilities
- Developing innovative assembly programs for welding processes is a key focus, covering a range of LBW, MIG/MAG, FSW, adhesive, and riveting processes.
- You provide important input in defining process parameters and key work instructions for handover to series production.
- Another goal is to plan and coordinate development trials on a laboratory scale and in series production during the development phase.
- You play a significant role in documenting trials, internal standards, and reporting.
- You also support the lead engineer in customer-related issues and evaluate the feasibility of welding concepts.
- Daily tasks for you include contacting external suppliers for process optimization and new solutions.
- You support in the RFQ, concept, and commissioning phases of production machines/cells and define fixtures and tools to contribute to the creation of Nemak process standards for welding processes.
Your Profile
- Completed technical studies, preferably in production engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Qualification as an International Welding Engineer is required.
- Relevant professional experience in the automotive industry or metal processing industry.
- Process understanding in the required areas of mechanical joining or straightening is advantageous.
