Overview:
Leads a multi-disciplined, highly technical team in implementing and continuously improving infrastructure technology that aligns with corporate goals and improves business outcomes.
Responsibilities:

The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.- Provides broad infrastructure leadership and expertise by directing research, architecture, design and development of new business services- Directs motivates, develops, and manages the infrastructure management team, key staff, and the technology support functions- Acts as the lead technical expert for infrastructure architecture and operations in specialized infrastructure domains and processes.
Guides the development of infrastructure roadmaps and collaborates across IT to advance these forward- May be the technical lead in one or more technical disciplines Defines scope of each infrastructure service with business goals and expectations in mind.
Sets and achieves annual goals for growing maturity of each service- Ensures infrastructure service SLAs are established and service and operational metrics are collected and reviewed on a regular basis.- Proactively assesses opportunities for improvements and create recommendations regarding best practices, new service offerings, technology introductions, cost savings, etc.- Performs on-call responsibilities and after hours duties as necessary.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university; supplemented by seven (7) or more years of experience in an IT Technical and or Management position, including at least five (5) years of supervisory or management experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Experience in leading and/or managing some, or all, of the following disciplines and its people: IT Help/Service Desk, Network and Server Operations, Data Center Strategies, IT security technology and management, Disaster / Recovery, Mobile Device technologies- Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows OS, VMWare, MS SQL, Enterprise Storage, Active Directory, Cisco, Telephony- Proven experience and project management skills in IT infrastructure designing, planning, developing and implementing infrastructure solutions with excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities- Strong leadership skills and understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures- Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language- Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail- Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and deliver results within project timelines in a high-pressure environment- Experienced in planning and managing capital, operating and project budgets- Exceptional customer service orientation and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment- Ability to build strong business and supplier relationships that ensure the successful delivery of IT services- Ability to lead, influence and motivate others in cross-disciplinary, virtual, integrated teams in a collaborative fashion- Ability to influence and to drive consensus and adoption of complex strategies and concepts- Ability to travel 20% of the time- Ability to commute with personal transportation.

Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds).
