Description:
The On-Site Material Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Shall provide supply chain expertise to manage all spares and equipment associated with the direct operation of the supported aircraft. He/she shall endeavor to decrease the amount of Aircraft on Ground ("AOG") time associated with spares availability and lead times.
- Provide day to day oversight of all operational activities in support of Material Management, acquisition, repair management, forecasting, warehouse management and Business System management.
- Provide direction and oversight of the junior team members.
- Material Forecasting and Repair Management.
- Maintain liaison with supporting departments regarding material matters. Customer/Programs/Technical.
- Coordinate transportation functions.
- Ensure compliance to PHS&T requirements.
- Pack up coordination
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Desired Skills:
Inventory Management, working directly with customer. SAP familiarity, GOLDesp familiarity. HMX-1 experience.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:
Yankee White - Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
