    About the Ideal Candidate

    The role of Manager, Partner Success is vital within Rev1's Partnership team, a diverse group facilitating connections between startups and corporations. This position is based at the Columbus South Campus Gateway office (hybrid working model) on a full-time basis.

    The perfect candidate will be deeply passionate about entrepreneurship, thriving in a dynamic, customer-facing role. As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing key program initiatives, fostering connections between startups and relevant corporate partners. Reporting to the Managing Director, Corporate Partnerships, this team member will be highly organized, an exceptional communicator, and adept at collaborating with various stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, Rev1 team members, corporate partners, and peers in the startup community.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Lead Rev1 Vetted Service Providers Program to offer top-notch services to startups at reasonable rates.

    • Oversee introductions between startups and providers.
    • Maintain strong relationships with current partners and identify opportunities for new partnerships.
    • Collaborate closely with the Rev1 accounting team to monitor engagement and invoicing.
    • Ensure data integrity and provide regular reports for the Rev1 team and external partners.

    Prepare regional startups for significant corporate connections:

    • Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration between startups and corporates.
    • Work with the Rev1 team to update relevant connections in our data systems.
    • Offer regular updates on the progress of connections and partnerships.

    Support the creation of startup deal flow for corporate innovation partners:

    • Source deal flow through discussions with founders, entrepreneurs, and partner engagement.
    • Collaborate with Market Intelligence & Data Analytics to analyze industry and startup data for partner opportunities.

    Manage internal initiatives to promote contract adherence, data consistency, and other projects as needed for the Rev1 Partnerships team.

    Attend industry events to network and identify startup and partner opportunities.

    Represent Rev1 externally as a credible spokesperson.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about business processes and client relations. Success in this role demands a balance of meticulous detail-oriented skills and charismatic, collaborative qualities.

    • 2-5 years of experience in working with entrepreneurs, corporate relationships, or venture capital.
    • Expertise in project management, including note-taking, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
    • Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects or partner accounts.
    • Open to exploring innovative problem-solving approaches, with a focus on risk mitigation and execution excellence.
    • Comfortable working within an evolving system to identify, develop, and capitalize on startup-corporate opportunities.
    • Capable of making decisions with limited data, understanding technology's role in addressing challenges, and recognizing new opportunities for customers.
