Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.

This position is for a personalized healthcare practice. Excellent customer service skills as well as clinical skills are essential.


Duties:


  • Provide excellent patient service by greeting and preparing patients for their appointments
  • Assist with coding and billing procedures to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
  • Utilize your knowledge of physiology to accurately record patient medical histories
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers
  • Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

Skills:


  • Medical assistant certification
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Strong patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care
  • Experience in vaccination administration
  • Ability to provide medical administrative support, including appointment scheduling and record management
  • Proficient in taking accurate vital signs

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour


Work setting:

  • Inperson

Experience:


  • EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
  • Vital signs: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Phoenix, AZ required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Phoenix, AZ 85044: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
