Job Overview:

The Production Team Lead will assist in maintaining the high level of productivity for Operations, this role will support our 2nd shift which runs from 2:30pm to 11:oopm Monday through Friday.

They will help manage many aspects of the manufacturing environment including:
safety, team building, personnel management and continuous improvement. They are responsible for performing set up of machines, starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. As well as inspecting machines to ensure high quality with mínimal down times. This role reports into the Production Supervisor


Responsibilities:

• Assists with motivating, training and supervising assigned shift teams to assure proper levels of safety, reliability, and quality are executed.
• Analyzing shift performance and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
• Complete cleaning and sanitation of machines according to established procedures.
• Utilizing the forklift to bring raw materials to the production lines as needed.
• Properly set up of the label machines according to standards.
• Printer set up for lot numbers and batch numbers.
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
• Continually promoting cleaning and maintaining safe work areas and machinery.
• Guiding employees on UBP safety procedures and assisting with training production line workers.
• Making suggestions for process improvements
• Back up for operators as need.
• Other duties assigned as necessary

Requirements:

• Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Self motivated with a strong sense of urgency
• Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
• Previous forklift experience
• The ability to give and follow instructions
• Be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Be able to work in a cold and hot environment
• Be able to work 8 hours in a standing position

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
