Description
Vaco has partnered with a local nonprofit located in Central Phoenix searching for a Director of Finance. This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven organization that serves local children in need of assistance.Job Title:
Director of Finance (contract-to-hire)
Location:
Central Phoenix (2-3 days in office)
Compensation:
$90,000 - $100,000 ($45 - $50 per hour)
Responsibilities:
Work closely with President & CEO in evaluation of financial performance
Administer and review all financial plans and budgets
Lead and assist in the month-end close process
Prepare financial statements
Lead annual budget process and audits
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting experience and knowledge/experience with nonprofit accounting
3+ years of leadership experience
BS in Accounting highly preferred
Experience with grant and fund accounting
