The GFA Consulting Group GmbH (GFA) is the general contractor for the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) for the Bilateral Cooperation Program (BCP) with global activities and maintains an office in Berlin for this purpose.

The program supports the development of nutrition, agriculture, and consumer health protection in foreign countries through bilateral projects.

An important principle of project work is "partnership-based cooperation for mutual benefit", with a focus on building and maintaining political and economic relationships.

Project formats include areas such as agricultural policy and technical dialogues, demonstration and training projects, and association collaborations.

Currently, projects are being implemented in Ukraine, the People's Republic of China, India, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Ethiopia, Morocco, Brazil, Argentina, and other countries.
