is seeking to hire a
Warehouse Lead at our Tempe, AZ location We are looking for a leader who will help lead by example and actively participate with warehouse crew in receiving ordered materials, stocking inventory, maintaining parts inventory levels, shipping materials and an emphasis on routing.

Help maintain (and enforce) a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.


Responsibilities:


  • Help District Materials Manager oversee and improve warehouse operational processes and procedures
  • Assist with management and inspections of warehouse facilities and grounds
  • Initiate freight claims
  • Help lead and maintain our high focus on safety
  • Ensure correct Bill of Materials and obtain necessary signatures
  • Participate in, and oversee, proper material handling, ordering and maintaining stock and shipping and receiving responsibilities
  • Schedule and oversee delivery drivers
  • Ensure staging is completed efficiently
  • Contribute effectively to our trash and recycling programs
  • Improve individual performance through daily coaching and yearly performance reviews
  • Assisting with hiring, training and developing new employees as necessary
  • Develop and lead effective monthly meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree OR if no degree, must have 35 years lead experience in a fastpaced warehouse organization
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products and be able to navigate the computer
  • Must be able to safely operate a forklift
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and a good mechanical aptitude (proficiency exercise may be administered)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Experience in conducting department meeting with hourly employees
