LA Camera Rentals is seeking a hard-working equipment and customer service expert to fill this crucial, long-term position.

An elite team is being assembled in order to revolutionize the rental industry with the latest technology and next-level hospitality.

The equipment prep technician's main post long-term will be on the prep floor and in the warehouse, but the position can involve a wide array of duties, particularly in the ramp-up to our grand reopening this summer.

Processes are being improved, facilities are being renovated, and inventory is being upgraded.

This means you will be working closely with management on a daily basis and are expected to adapt to any task as we go all hands on deck in preparation for launch.

Los Angeles Camera Rentals is a camera & film equipment rental agency that has been serving local and international filmmakers, photographers, and other creatives for over a decade.

Having recently transferred to new ownership and management, LACR is currently undergoing a radical transformation to become LA's top rental agency for high-end cinema and TV, as well as independent creators.

DATE

• Employment begins ASAP

SCHEDULE

• 40 hours per week
• 8 hour shifts
• Overtime as needed

LOCATION

• North Hollywood, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pull, prepare, and inventory rental packages
• Represent the company to current and prospective clients
• Provide technical support to clients
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop
• Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all relevant equipment
• Other miscellaneous duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Desire to stay and grow with the company for years
• Expert, encyclopedic knowledge of cinema cameras, lenses, and accessories

Bonus:

• 1 year of rental house prep tech experience
• Film production experience
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and competent driving ability
• Ability to be on your feet all day
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency
• A drive for efficiency AND perfection

COMPENSATION
- $22-26/hr, based on experience, skill, and knowledge
