Description

What Will You Be Doing?

Composes, mixes, and masters music and sound effects for Company products.
Implementing audio assets into the game engine.
Creates custom sound effects and records them for future product use.
Provides implementation instructions to internal teams for sound cues usage.
Iterates on content based on stakeholder feedback and meets management deadlines.
Acts as a liaison for crossfunctional teams on audio projects.
Ensures audio deliverables are tested on product hardware and troubleshoots implementation issues independently.
Records and delivers voiceovers for projects.
Conducts research and provides mockups to determine suitable audio for projects.
Ensures assigned content meets Company volume standards with mínimal guidance.
Creates troubleshooting documents and formats audio ports for different Company platforms as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise for the Job:

2+ years of experience as a composer and sound designer for games
casino or otherwise.
Ability to compose in every style and genre.
Instrument proficiency, music programming, and composition experience.
Audio manipulation experience.
Understanding of music theory.
Solid understanding of the game development process.
Coaching voiceover talent.
Experience with audio tools like Cocos, Unity, XACT, and Wwise, or other professional sound tools.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances.
