- Conducting supplier on-site audits to evaluate supplier quality and manufacturing abilities for supplier qualification, surveillance, and development programs
- Enhancing supplier performance by implementing tools like Six Sigma, SPC, and root cause analysis
- Leading investigations on corrective actions related to suppliers and ensuring part and process quality at supplier sites
- Developing and managing inspection plans for process control, testing, and inspection
- Reviewing supplier documents to ensure component quality standards are met
- Implementing control plans for problem containment and driving corrective actions
- Analyzing and reporting quality measures to Management
- Providing quality training as required
- Contributing to Material Review Board meetings regarding nonconforming material
- Handling Material Rejection Reports
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
- Preferably a Master's degree in a relevant field
- Three to five years of experience in supplier quality engineering and audits
- Global supplier quality experience with various manufacturing technologies
- Proficiency in quality techniques like FMEAs and SPC
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
