Description:
Basic Function
Maintains building utilization data and facilities furniture inventory using an automated computerized maintenance system. Coordinates employee moves, cubicle reconfigurations and purchases furniture. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and safety procedures.
Responsibilities and Specific Duties
Acts as point of contact for building services and user needs.
Updates and maintains electronic building moves & employee records in database system.
Coordinates employee moves and reconfiguration requests. Arranges for delivery of moving packing materials.
Works with vendors to obtain quotes on furniture, reconfiguration, and employee moves.
Creates shopping carts for services needed related to employees' moves, reconfiguration and furniture purchases and others as requested by Management.
Performs Asset Disposal Request for furniture and assist with the disposal of these assets.
Keeps track of all expenses related to employee moves, reconfiguration and furniture as requested by Management.
Prepares reports (weekly, monthly) regarding building management activities.
Maintains building drawing files (CAD)
Maintains records of all the procurement items related to space management.
Provides excellent customer service to METRO internal and external customers.
Applies SMS (Safety Management System) methods and principles in daily routine and supports all aspects of the agency's Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP).
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
High school or GED required. Additional related coursework desired.
Years & Experience Required
Minimum of five (5) years of administrative work experience in Facilities Maintenance or similar working environment working with automated computerized maintenance system.
Project management skills a plus.Knowledge & Skills Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent Customer Service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel and working knowledge of AutoCAD Graphics.
