Description

We are looking for enthusiastic Dining Room & Banquet Servers during our evening and weekend shifts to provide an excellent dining experience.

Great servers will create a professional and friendly environment that exceeds customers' needs and expectations.

Job Type:
Full-time or part-time

Pay:
From $11.50-$21.50per hour plus tips

Responsibilities

Have a comprehensive knowledge of serving routines.
Thoroughly understand all menu items, features, and drinks offered by the Davenport Country Club.
Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
Be available throughout the shift to assist members with any questions, concerns, or requests as needed.
Complete opening, midshift, and closing duties as they pertain to your scheduled shift to maintain a smoothrunning operation.
Setting up the banquet/dining rooms.
Assists supervisors in setting up special events and parties throughout the Club.
Promotes high morale and enthusiasm among staff by providing a positive and teamoriented mentality both on and off the floor.
Provides a high level of cooperation and communication with all departments of the club
Prepare alcohol or nonalcohol beverages for restaurant patrons
Clear tables during service. Control guest checks and secure proper payment
Restock and stock inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Skills/Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Experience as a server in a comparable establishment (23 years preferred)
Computer literacy
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the area organized, stocked and clean
High school or equivalent education required

Availability on nights, weekends, and major holidays. (i.e. New Years, Mother's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.) Ability to lift/carry server trays.
